The diagnostic center is a pioneer in Oncology, Foetal medicine, and Theranostics Clinical Genetics. Spread over a sprawling 20,000 sq feet, we have installed state of the art equipment operated by highly specialised and trained personnel to provide accurate and personalised diagnostic services to clients. Our fully accredited lab is run by domestic and internationally accredited pathologists. Our diagnostic services include an array of consultative and diagnostic services such as cytometry, molecular diagnostics, surgical pathology and more. Special areas of diagnostic proficiency include gynecological, gastrointestinal, endocrine, genitourinary, breast, bone, endocrine, soft tissues, kidney, head, and neck.

Chemistry / Toxicology
An array of the menu is offered over 100 assays on body fluids, blood, and urine in a day. Specialised prenatal screening for HIV, Hepatitis, tumor markers, hormones, and vitamins are offered using high-pressure liquid chromatography, radioimmunoassay, ELISA methods, chemiluminescence and fluorescence polarization.
The Clinical Cytogentics lab analyses the chromosome for peripheral blood, tissues, bone marrow and more clinical specimens. The high-resolution banding or FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) are used to analyse the specimens. Microdeletion syndromes like Prader-Willi, Miller-Dieker, DiGeorge, Smith-Magenis, Angelman and Williams Syndromes are analysed using FISH test. Malignant hematologic disorders and solid tumors are diagnosed using FISH Oncology tests.
The Clinical Immunology Lab provides a host of protein electrophoresis assays and autoantibody tests, apart from viscosity measurement, syphilis serology, and cryoglobulin evaluation. Some of the assay methods used include indirect immunofluorescence, high-resolution protein electrophoresis, enzyme immunoassays, linear immunoassays, nephelometry, and immunofixation.
Anderson Diagnostics provides a host of immunophenotyping services and hematopathology consultation. Our Flow Cytometry lab is headed by a regular hematopathologist. The TDT assays are conducted by the hematopathologists required for diagnostic triage. Sophisticated molecular diagnosis is conducted on a need basis.
Hematology / Coagulation
In our Hematology lab, we combine clinical coagulation, hematology and flow cytometry. The specimens are analysed using Sysmex HST automation line allowing 80% of testing in an automated mode. The tests are reviewed by Medical Technologists with specialisation in Hematology. The Pathologists review the reports. The cerebrospinal fluid and body fluid tests are also conducted here. The counted are verified on Sysmex XE5000 analyzer. Urinalysis is also conducted in the Hematology lab that specialises in Image technology, integrated automation, and particle recognition software algorithms. The bone marrow diagnosis is done through cytochemical staining procedure and reviewing the cell morphology under the microscope. Our hematology lab is a full reference lab capable of diagnosing most hemostatic, platelet and thrombotic functional disorders.
Our Histocompatibility lab collaborates with Solid Organ Transplant team to assess immunological risks in pre and post transplant and prevent graft rejection and monitor treatment. Our lab performs HLA typing especially for disease related studies like Narcolepsy, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Uveitis, Bird Shot Retinopathy among others. The screening for HLA typing and anti HLA antibody is performed for transfusion support.
Microbiology / Virology
Our full-service Microbiology lab offers to screen for virology, bacteriology, molecular diagnostics, mycology, and parasitology. Tests are conducted in areas related to the culture of bacterial pathogens, susceptibility testing, specialised identification of unusual organs, culture and identification of anaerobic organisms, a culture of spinal fluid, blood and body fluids, elaborate diagnosis of blood, tissues, intestinal and arthropod borne parasites. Identification of mold, yeast, dermatophytes and mycobacterial agents, molecular testing of various viruses, enzyme immunoassay for detection of Clostridium difficile antigen, Helicobacter pylori stool antigen, rotavirus and adenovirus and shiga-like toxin from Enterohemmorhagic E. coli (EHEC) and finally virus detection and identification using Rapid Antigen Test, Rapid Shell Vial Culture.
