Training the Next Generation of Genetics Professionals

Anderson Diagnostics & Labs and the School of Allied Healthcare Sciences (SAHS), JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in laboratory medicine and clinical genetics.

The partnership covers internships, guest lectures, workshops, collaborative research, and skill development programs — giving students structured exposure to clinical practice.

Through this association, both institutions aim to produce healthcare professionals equipped for the demands of modern clinical and diagnostic practice.

Anderson Diagnostics & Labs and Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) have launched the MAHE-Anderson Centre of Excellence in Reproductive Genomics in Manipal, Karnataka. This partnership introduces a state-of-the-art Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) facility at the University Hospital. The center leverages Anderson’s decade of expertise to advance prenatal testing and women’s healthcare diagnostics across coastal Karnataka. It aims to diagnose critical diseases before birth by integrating cutting-edge research with scalable clinical diagnostics. This collaboration will serve as a hub for academic training, research, and comprehensive diagnostic services.
