Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ medical histories to ensure that imaging procedures are safe for them.
- Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques when necessary.
- Inform patients about the medical imaging process and answer their queries.
- Perform or direct radiology staff to carry out image-guided diagnostic procedures.
- Work closely with radiology lab technicians to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging results to determine accurate diagnoses.
- Communicate and discuss results and diagnoses with physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Compile detailed written reports of findings and diagnoses.
- Ensure quality control and minimize technical errors in the radiology department.
Requirements:
- MBBS with an MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the respective state medical council.
- Proven experience in diagnostic radiology, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
